Summer competition

All games are held on a Tuesday evening at the Newcastle International Hockey Centre, Broadmeadow. 

Competition is expected to start soon after the end of the October school holidays. First game is at 6pm, then 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. The draw will normally give a team an even spread of timeslots. 

To play you will need to pay a registration fee to the Hockey Centre and then a game fee the team manager. Amount of payment is yet to be determined.

You will need a stick, shinpads, a mouthguard and a t-shirt in the team's chosen colour. Shoes should have some time of grip, similar to trail running shoes.

There is no need to be across all the rules. Summer competition is meant to be fun and the perfect environment for new players to join in, learn and improve skills.
