Summer competition

All games are held on a Tuesday evening at the Newcastle International Hockey Centre, Broadmeadow. 

Competition starts on 28 October. Games are played at 6pm, then 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. The draw will normally give a team an even spread of timeslots. 

You must be 14 years of age as of 27 October 2025.

To register, all winter players pay a registration fee of $25 to the Hockey Centre. All non winter players pay the same $25 fee plus a $25 registration and insurance payment to Hockey NSW. Game fees are paid to the team manager. Amount of payment is yet to be determined.

You will need a stick, shinpads, a mouthguard and a sky-blue coloured t-shirt. Shorts/skort and sock are black. Shoes should have some time of grip, similar to trail running shoes.

There is no need to be across all the rules. Summer competition is meant to be fun and the perfect environment for new players to join in, learn and improve skills.
